30-Minute Deep Stretch: Nourishing The Fascia In The Body

This class is for those days when tension has taken over and stiffness is keeping the body from feeling light and flexible. 

We will be focusing on postures that both ground and elongate the body. These deep stretches support the fascia—the connective tissue in the body. This thin tissue directly under the skin is what surrounds and holds the organs, bones, nerve fibers, and muscles. The fascia is essentially the netting that holds us together, keeping us stable and able to move freely. 

My cat Fritz decided to make a few appearances in this video to enjoy the sunshine warming my space. I love thinking about your furry ones hanging out with you while in practice. :)
